Personalized Provider Directories

DMC is currently investigating the opportunity for producing Personalized Provider Directories based on a data feed received direct from Health Plans whereby provider listings are appended with latitude/longitude data. The requesting Member’s address is then converted to a latitude/longitude coordinate with an automated radius query launched that is built around the member’s location and the providers’ corresponding latitude/longitude coordinates. A personalized PD would be generated with a specified minimum number of Providers identified in the radius pull based on the Provider Listings/Types (i.e. minimum of 10 Primary Care Physicians, minimum of 5 Cardiologists, 3 Oncologists, etc.). The automation solution would then generate a CSV print file to be sent to the DMC print shop for print production and fulfillment on 48 hour turn basis.
